Please take care to read our notes on shipping below. Many checkout systems overestimate shipping as if each item shipped separately. We will optimize the packaging and thereby minimize your actual shipping fees, regardless of the checkout pre-estimates.

Notes on Shipping Costs:

Please note, carefully, the shipping model you select when you check out. Our in-store pickup is, of course, free. Some checkout systems will calculate shipping anyway, and authorize your card for that amount, but we will waive or refund those charges for all in-store pickup items. We will get the product ready for you before notifying you of its availability for pickup.

Also, please note that shipping charges on your checkout order are pre-shipment estimates only, and the checkout systems often over-estimate those fees. We approve payment for the pre-estimated amount at the time you check out, but we will always optimize the packaging and make a reasonable, best effort search for the best actual price that meets our quality and product safety requirements. We charge you only that amount, not the pre-estimated amount, unless the pre-estimate is exactly correct, or less than what we incur. If you have any reservations at all, do not hesitate to leave us a note on the checkout form, e-mail us, or call us and we'll let you know, before we charge you, how much your actual shipping fees would be.

An example: As an example, consider an order for wall art and diaper stackers. The checkout systems pre-estimate shipping for those as if shipped separately, and becuase both are 'bulky' items, the pre-estimate is artifically high. However, we package the two items into a single shipping package, thereby drastically reducing the actual shipping charge we (and thus, you) incur. Essentially, the total shipping charge will be similar to the higher of the two items, but not the aggregate of them. We charge only the actual amount we find after optimizing the shipment packaging and a reasonable search for the best shipping price.
